Jason Derulo announces UK and Ireland tour

Jason Derulo has announced details of his UK and Ireland tour, scheduled for next year.

The Talk Dirty singer will play a total of eight live shows across the countries in March 2014, starting at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena.

Jason was scheduled to tour in 2012 but was forced to cancel after an acrobatic move went wrong, causing Jason to fall on his head and fracture a vertebra in his neck.

The injury, which could have caused paralysis, required Derulo to wear a neck brace for the next several months.

Tickets for the shows, organised in support of his latest album Tattoos, go on sale this Friday (October 11) at 9am.

Speaking of plans for his tour, Jason said: “I’m always trying to come up with new and exciting moves.

“I’m also going to be adding some magic to my live performances – I’m a big magic fan. You know, I have magical powers so it’d be a shame not to show them off. I have a lot of really cool ideas – I think it will shock a lot of people.”

Jason Derulo’s 2014 UK tour dates are as follows:

March 19 – Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
March 20 – Manchester O2 Apollo
March 22 – Birmingham NIA Arena
March 24 – London Hammersmith Apollo
March 27 – Leeds O2 Academy
