Jennifer Lopez denies American Idol departure
Jennifer Lopez has denied claims that she is to leave American Idol indefinitely.
During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres talkshow earlier this week, JLo said that in spite of how much she enjoys working on the show, she feels that such a commitment can “lock you down”.
Lopez wrote on her Twitter page after Thursday night’s semi-final results show: “There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving Idol. All I said was I haven’t decided what I am doing next year. #mediaremix (sic)
“When I know for sure what I’m doing I will let the #LOVE!RS know! #FYITweets”
Lopez currently sits on the judging panel with Randy Jackson and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, having originally signed up for the show’s tenth season last year.
