Joan Rivers out of intensive care
Joan Rivers has been moved out of intensive care.
Her daughter Melissa released a statement saying, “My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support.”
The 81-year-old actress and comedian experienced a cardiac arrest last Thursday (August 28) while undergoing an operation on her vocal cords, and was transported to New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital.
An update yesterday confirmed that the Fashion Police presenter was still on a life support machine, however whether she now remains on life support has not been revealed.
Filming on Fashion Police has been halted, with E! stating: “We will not be producing a Fashion Police this week or next as we await Joan and Melissa’s return in front and behind the camera.
“E! will be airing two E! from Fashion Week specials that will deliver the latest news and information from the highly-anticipated event.”
