Justin Bieber arrives on stage two hours late for O2 gig

Justin Bieber enraged fans and parents last night after turning up two hours late for his O2 Arena show.

The popstar was booed by the crowd as he showed up for the concert at around 10.30pm, despite being billed to play from 8.30pm.

A Bieber fan told DYRT: “It’s disgraceful, so many children were distressed and left heartbroken they had to leave the show. Many had been looking forward to seeing Justin for weeks.”

Father Wayne Parsonage tweeted that he ended up missing Bieber’s performance so he could make the last train home, and later added: “Discusting!! Waste of my time and money … never again.”

“Justin Bieber is currently TWO hours late (and counting) for his own concert. Young fans are leaving as it’s so late,” The Mirror reporter James Robertson wrote on Twitter.

He later added: “Bieber update: He’s decided to show up. Is the arena curfew 11pm? Crowd were booing and last tube is around midnight.”

Meanwhile, Joanne Dorken of MTV News tweeted that there were “literally kids in tears on the tube after parents made them leave to get last trains”, calling it “heartbreaking stuff”.

Bieber tweeted his own 35 million Twitter followers in the lead up to the show that he was thrilled to be performing in the UK capital. and told fans to “get ready.”

The O2’s official Twitter account posted at 10.36pm: “Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologises for the lateness of his show.

“Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes.”
