Justin Bieber chased down by NFL star for speeding

Justin Bieber faced another angry parent Monday night in the form of 6ft4 former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, who chased down the star for speeding in his gated Calabassas complex.

The 5ft7 teenage star was reportedly driving his Ferrari at a “startling speed” when 6ft4 Johnson decided he’d had enough of Bieber’s antics.

The father-of-four was driving a modest eco-friendly Prius when he gave chase, according to TMZ.

Keyshawn Johnson tried to confront Bieber over his alleged reckless behviour “Bieber ran away like a scared little child,” eyewitnesses told the website.

A representative for the former Super Bowl champion told ABC News that Johnson gathered up his children playing outside his house when he heard “what sounded like a race car streaking past.”

Johnson then got into his Prius and followed Bieber’s white Ferrari to the singer’s house.

When he got there “he knocked on Bieber’s car window” but the singer refused to get out, according to Johnson’s representative.

The report continued: “Bieber’s security personnel then tried to block Johnson, who finally grabbed Bieber and confronted him about his driving.”

Bieber told Johnson that he was not the one behind the wheel, his spokesperson added.

Another NFL alum Eric Dickerson backed up his fellow sportsman in on Twitter, “I live in Calabasas too and @justinbieber needs to slow his a** down.”

He also told TMZ: “I’ve seen [Justin] driving fast around Calabasas before in the Ferrari. It’s just not safe.”

Dickerson added: “I don’t blame Keyshawn, he’s got kids … I don’t blame him for trying to get [Justin’s] attention. I would’ve been the same way … when you’re a father it takes on a whole new meaning.  Plus, we got that football mentality.”

TMZ are reporting that Bieber is under police investigation for the incident which is alleged to have taken place at 8pm on Monday night.

L.A. County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore told the website that they received two separate calls in different locations in the Calabasas community.
