Justin Bieber makes a plea deal

Justin Bieber has accepted a plea deal to avoid jail time in his egg throwing case.

According to TMZ, the 20-year-old has agreed to undergo anger management classes along with two years of supervised probation after pleading no contest to charges of misdemeanor vandalism.

He will also have to perform five days of community service in addition to paying $80,900 in damages to his former neighbour, whose Calabasas home the teen idol allegedly threw eggs at.

Reps for Bieber released a statement following the sentencing on Wednesday, saying: “Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music.”

While Sheriff’s detectives initially estimated the damage to the home at up to $20,000, the presiding judge said ‘The house is a dream house’, explaining why he was fining Bieber in excess of $80K according to TMZ.

The anger management courses are expected to go for 12 weeks, with a minimum of one meeting per week.

In addition, the gossip website claims that the Baby singer is required to stay at least 100 yards away from his former neighbour and his family.
