Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z to play extra Wireless date

 

Yahoo! Wireless Festival has become so popular it has been extended into a third day.

Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z, who were previously confirmed for the festival, will now jointly headline the event on Sunday, July 14, organisers have confirmed.

Timberlake will headline the festival on Friday, July 12, and Jay-Z will close the event on Saturday, July 13, with them both taking to the stage on July 14th.

The Suit & Tie collaborators will use the Sunday night headline slot to preview their joint Legends of the Summer stadium tour.

A Tribe Called Quest will give their first UK performance in 20 years on the Sunday, and further acts have been announced for the weekend.

Ke$ha, Wretch 32, Conor Maynard, Bingo Players and Iggy Azalea are added to the bill on Friday, July 12, while Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Zedd and Flux Pavilion will perform on Saturday, July 13.

This year’s Wireless Festival is the first to take place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, following the event’s relocation from Hyde Park.

Tickets for the new date go on sale this Friday (March 15) at 9am priced at £75 (excluding booking fees).
