Kaiser Chiefs announce new album and live shows
Kaiser Chiefs have announced details of their new album and lives shows.
Education, Education, Education & War will be the band’s fifth LP, and will be released in March next year, and marks the band’s first album since drummer and main songwriter Nick Hodgson quit last year.
The album will include the tracks ‘Coming Home’ and ‘Misery Company’, which were performed live during their shows at London’s Hyde Park and Leeds Arena earlier this year.
Animal Collective producer Ben H Allen III worked with the band for the LP, which was recorded at The Maze Studio in Atlanta, Georgia.
To support the album, Kaiser Chiefs have also announced two live dates in February.
They will perform at Gorilla in Manchester on February 11 and London’s Scala venue on February 13, as well as shows in Madrid, New York, Mexico City and Los Angeles.
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson will join the coaching panel on BBC One’s The Voice UK, which returns in early 2014.
Education, Education, Education & War will be released on March 31, 2014.
