Kanye West complains about his Grammy nominations
Kanye West has complained that he hasn’t been nominated for enough Grammy Awards this year.
The rapper is up for Best Rap Album for his record Yeezus and Best Rap Song for ‘New Slaves’ at this year’s ceremony but apparently Kanye feels he’s worth more.
Speaking during a show at the US Airways Centre in Phoenix, West declared: “Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list.
“But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say?”
The singer, who is engaged to Kim Kardashian, has previously been nominated for 53 Grammy Awards and won 21 of them.
“I don’t care about the Grammys,” he continued. “I just would like for the statistics to be more accurate.”
West recently spoke about his ‘Yeezus’ tour, claiming that he is risking his life every day.
”Like, I’m just giving of my body on the stage; I’m putting my life at risk, literally,” he insisted.
“When I think about when I’m on the ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ and ‘Coldest Winter’ moment, like that mountain goes really, really high. And if I slipped…
”You never know. And I think about it. I think about my family and I’m like, ‘Wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something’.”
