Kendall Jenner Walks On Water For Fendi 90th Anniversary Show
Fendi celebrated it’s 90th anniversary with a stunning catwalk show at Rome’s Trevi Fountain.
Models, including Kendall Jenner, appeared to be walking on water at the star studded show on Thursday night.
Kendall wore a beautiful blue embroidered coat by the label to walk on a glass catwalk.
The fountains, one of the most famous fountains in the world, were designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci.
German designer Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Fendi walked onto the catwalk at the end of the show to rapturous applause.
Karl is the head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi and his own fashion label.
Fendi’s anniversary show called “Legends and Fairytales,” which also featured Bella Hadid, was actually the first to take place at the iconic location.
“A fashion show in Rome at the Trevi Fountain is the best way to celebrate Fendi’s 90 years’ anniversary as it expresses our roots and DNA while transmitting daring creativity and craftsmanship,” Fendi chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari said in a statement.
“The Trevi Fountain is a unique place, and it represents Fendi preservation of values, tradition and historic patronage while looking towards the future.”
