Kendrick Lamar slams Drake in new rap
Kendrick Lamar has taken another shot at Drake, calling him “sensitive” and “fake” in a new rap.
The two rappers started a feud when Lamar called Drake out on Big Sean’s ‘Control’, rapping “I’m tryna murder you n***as”. Drake responded by labelling Lamar’s verse as “an ambitious thought”.
However, in a new rap released on Thursday – from Mobb Deep’s ‘Shook Ones’ – Lamar slates Drake by saying: “And nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/ Ha-ha, jokes on you/ High-five/I’m bulletproof/ Your s**t’s a never penetrate/ Pin the tail on the donkey/ Boy, you been a fake.”
Speaking to LA radio station Power 106 about Lamar’s initial verse, Drake said: “I’m probably as done as the rest of the world with that record. I think it came and went.
“Not to discredit it, it was a good moment. But at the end of the day it was one of those fleeting Twitter frenzies. It was cool for what it was.”
Drake this week scored his third number one album in the United States.
