Khloe Kardashian reveals Lamar’s depression and what prompted her to stop fertility treatment

Khloe Kardashian has opened up about husband Lamar’s depression and the reason she stopped fertility treatment.

Khloe admitted estranged husband Lamar Odom is a “a very depressed person” as she discussed her now troubled marriage in the latest episode of the family’s reality TV show.

The episode was shot before the couple’s current marital problems came to light, but in the episode it seems cracks were already appearing in the couples fairy-tale romance.

During the episode Khloe became upset with a string of phone calls from her husband, who was away on a basketball training camp.

In particular, one left her worried as despite ringing her at her mother’s home, “bugging out” Lamar did not seem to comprehend where his wife was.

“There is a lot of emotional issues I think that Lamar has,” explained Khloe.

“I do want to help or cater to Lamar but also there is only so much anyone can take.

“Lamar is a very depressed person, which is sad but understandable with everything that he has been through in his life.

“I do love Lamar with every ounce of who I am but it is really scary when someone is in such a deep low and you know they are relying on you to get them out and you are trying and trying and trying and nothing is really working.”

Khloe made sure critics didn’t jump to the wrong conclusion after the episode aired, tweeting:  “Speculate all you want, the armor I put around MY family can’t melt or even scratch. So continue to throw your daggers.”

“You will never cut us, you will just tire yourself out. Strong and united we will still stand.”

Khloe’s fertility issues was also at the heart of the episode as Kim tried to get her to consider adopting a baby.

Kim, who is still pregnant in the show, asked her sister about her attempts to get pregnant and her seeing a fertility doctor recently.

“No I have not seen them, why does that matter?

“Why are you guys all so pushy? Push, push, push. Everyone is so pushy over this thing?”

Kim explained that it was ‘fun’ to be pregnant and she wanted Khloe to do it with her.

“I am sure it is a fun time, but when it is supposed to be then it is going to happen,” countered Khloe.

Kim then suggested her sister see an adoption attorney to better understand the process.

“Why would I do that? I am not ready to continue with fertility treatment,” snapped Khloe.

“There are some things that not everybody knows and me and Lamar are the only people who do need to know that.”
