Kim Kardashian denies ‘surprise wedding’ rumours

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly have no plans to marry just yet, with an insider claiming a baby and a wedding could be on the way once Kim’s divorce is final.

Recent reports suggested that West was planning to propose to Kardashian shortly, although rumours that he would pop the question on Kardashian’s birthday vacation in Venice proved to be false.

Kardashian has now told Us Weekly that the couple are not planning a “surprise wedding” or “expecting a baby together.”

“I’m still married, technically,” she said, referring to her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries, which ended just over a year ago.

Meanwhile, a source claimed that Kardashian is waiting for her divorce to be finalised before moving forward with West.

“Kim thinks they’ll get engaged and try for a baby once the divorce is final,” the insider said. “Kanye is actually being very patient.”

A source also suggested that Kardashian wants to avoid being criticised for her relationship choices, saying: “After the backlash from ending her 72-day marriage with Kris, Kim would never get engaged until everything was properly handled.

“There are no wedding plans, period. She and Kanye are taking their time. That’s the truth.”

Kardashian recently opened up about her romance with West, saying: “We’ve had a deep friendship for so long and that’s the start of a really good relationship.”
