Kristin Chenoweth returns to ‘The Good Wife’ following injury
Kristin Chenoweth has returned to filming on The Good Wife following an injury sustained on set in July.
Cast as a news reporter on the CBS legal drama in June, the 44-year-old was forced to pull out of the role after she was hit by a lighting silk.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she stayed overnight for observation.
Chenoweth recently Tweeted that she was “able to go back and shoot a short scene” to wrap up her character’s arc.
The Good Wife star Josh Charles – who directed the scene – also confirmed Chenoweth’s return, tweeting: “Having [Kristin] back with us on set today was absolutely the highlight of my day. Her talent, charm and warmth was inspiring.”
The series will return to CBS on Sunday, September 30 at 9/8c. In the UK, The Good Wife airs on More4.
