Lawson announce collaboration with B.o.B

Lawson have teamed up with US rapper B.O.B for their new single Brokenhearted.

The band announced they will release the single on July 7 in the UK and will tease a preview to fans tomorrow.

The song was written by frontman Andy Brown and was recorded in London earlier this year. It will be available to pre-order from May 15.

“‘Brokenhearted’ is definitely a bit of a turning point for us as a band,” said Andy.

“It’s my favourite song we have recorded to date.

“It was a dream to get B.o.B on the track. The whole band are huge fans of his. He really took the song to the next level and we had a great time shooting the video with him.”

The accompanying music video sees a mystery blonde female attempting to bury the memory of her ex-flame, culminating in a Hollywood Hills performance from Lawson and B.o.B.

Lawson’s new single follows their debut album Chapman Square.
