LISTEN: Conor Maynard unveils new single
Conor Maynard has unveiled the music video for his new single, Royalty.
In the video, Conor heads to a speakeasy to add a bit of 1920’s Chicago style glamour to the jazz infused tune.
Joining forces with Craig David for his current track ‘Talking About’, the singer has now teamed up with Labrinth for this one.
“He knew exactly what he wanted to create, in such detail that it took us three hours to record the first verse,” said Maynard.
“I had to sing in a swing/jazz style, which I never imagined I’d even attempt. ‘Royalty’ really does sound like nothing else out there, which is such a rare quality in pop.”
The singer and producer was also behind Maynard’s 2013 track ‘R U Crazy’.
‘Royalty’ is released on July 5 through Parlophone Records.
