Made in Chelsea producers tipped for new ‘Made in Manchester’ reality show
Made in Chelsea production company Monkey Kingdom is rumoured to be in pre-production of a new reality show based in Manchester.
Waterloo Road’s Chelsee Healey (Janeece Bryant) and Manchester designer Nadine Merabi are tipped to star in the show, along with WAGs and soap stars such as Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) being lined up to make cameo appearances.
“The programme will be classy, like a Mancunian version of Sex and the City,” a source told The Mirror.
“They want to show Manchester at its best, with only the most glamorous bars, restaurants and nightclubs featured.
“Lots of auditions have already taken place but they aren’t satisfied yet and spots are still up for grabs.
“They only want gorgeous, well-connected people with great stories to tell. Anyone boring won’t make the cut.”
The new series will follow in the footsteps of other constructed reality shows such as The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore and Desperate Scousewives.
