Mary J Blige confirms Christmas album

Mary J Blige has confirmed details of her forthcoming Christmas album.

The singer will release A Mary Christmas, which will feature 12 festive songs for the holiday season.

The set will include soulful reinterpretations of classic tracks such as ‘Little Drummer Boy’, ‘The Christmas Song’ and ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’.

Jessie J, Barbra Streisand, Mark Anthony and The Clark Sisters will all feature on A Mary Christmas, which has been produced by David Foster.

“Working with David Foster is a singer’s dream,” said Blige.

“I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to make this soulful classic Christmas album with him.

“David’s music has touched so many lives and I’m so proud of what we’ve created and I believe my fans will love it as much as I do.”
