Miley Cyrus pregnancy rumours denied

Miley Cyrus’s mother has denied that the recently engaged star is pregnant.

A US tabloid recently published a report claiming that Cyrus got engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth this month only after discovering that she is carrying his child.

Tish blasted the publication in a series of Twitter posts and insisted that Miley is not expecting her first child.

“So sad that the nasty tabloids have to make up stories to sell their trashy mags. Cant they just leave these 2 alone and let them be happy?… makes me so sad (sic),” Tish wrote.

She added: “This should be the happiest time of [their] lives and it makes me sick they USE her to sell mags… Thanks to all the Miley supporters who LOVE her.”

Miley strenuously denied that she was cheating on Hemsworth earlier in the week after photographs of her in a pool with male friend Cheyne Thomas emerged online.

Hemsworth and Cyrus have dated on-and-off since meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2009.
