Muse announce UK tour for 2013

Muse have announced plans for a stadium tour in 2013.

The band will play four dates across England in support of their recent album The 2nd Law, which topped the chart last month.

Muse will play headline sets at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on May 22, London’s Emirates Stadium on May 25 and 26, and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 1.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from 9.30am on November 23.

Muse recently admitted that they want to conquer America with their latest record The 2nd Law.

“Coldplay are the only English group to have had real success there in the last 15 years,” Matt Bellamy said.

Bassist Chris Wolstenholme added: “You don’t think about it when you start, you’re just content to be recognised on home soil. But then you want something more.”
