Muse To Headline War Child Brit Awards Gig
Muse have been announced as headliners for this year’s War Child Brit Awards concert.
Matt Bellamy and co will play London’s 2,000-capacity Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Monday 18th February – two days before they perform Supremacy with a full orchestra and choir at the Brits.
The Devon trio follow in the footsteps of The Killers, Blur and Coldplay who’ve performed at War Child’s previous Brit Awards gigs, which raise money for the charity.
Muse maestro Bellamy said: “We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years.
“It’s great to see their efforts being recognised at this year’s BRITs and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them.”
Bellamy’s band are nominated for British Group and British Live Act at next month’s ceremony, while War Child will receive the first Special Recognition award.
Special guests for the one-off gig are still to be revealed with tickets, priced at £50 with all proceeds going to War Child, going on general sale this Friday at 9am.
