NBA: Miami Heat level Eastern Conference semi-final
The Miami Heat recorded their biggest post-season victory as they thrashed the Chicago Bulls 115-78 in Wednesday night’s Game 2.
Rebounding from their Game One upset, Ray Allen landed 21 points, while LeBron James had 19 points and nine assists as the Heat levelled their Eastern Conference semi-final series at 1-1.
Marco Belinelli top scored for the Bulls with 13 points, with the result Chicago’s worst-ever in the play-offs.
Chicago will need to relocate the resilience that has powered them through the playoffs o far as Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich are both still absent, however rumour has it that Derrick Rose may still reappear in the Bulls lineup.
In an ill-tempered affair, the Bulls had six technical fouls, and Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson were ejected as Miami’s lead reached as much as 46 points.
The Bulls shot only 36 percent, while Miami connected with 60 percent of their shots.
Game Three is in Chicago on Friday night.

Klay Thompson led the way with 34 points to help the Golden State Warriors level their series against the San Antonio Spurs at 1-1 with a 100-91 win.
After San Antonio’s epic comeback in Game One, the Spurs couldn’t quite overhaul Golden State after trailing by 19 points at half-time.
Thompson also grabbed 14 rebounds, while Stephen Curry followed up his 44-point performance in game one with 22 points this time.
Tim Duncan paced the Spurs with 23 points.
All four NBA conference semi-final series are now tied 1-1.
