NBA: Tuesday night action sees Miami Heat claim fourth successive victory
Chris Bosh scored 19 points to lead the Miami Heat to their fourth straight win by beating the Atlanta Hawks 104-88.
Ray Allen added 17 points for the Heat while Mario Chalmers, who scored nine consecutive points in the third quarter, had 14.
Mike Scott paced the Hawks with 15 points, including three three-pointers.
Terrence Jones poured in 24 points as the Houston Rockets extended their own winning run to three games with a 109-85 victory over the Boston Celtics.
Jones also pulled down nine rebounds, while Patrick Beverley contributed 16 points.
DeMarcus Cousins scored 27 points in the Sacramento Kings’ 107-104 win over the Phoenix Suns, while the Detroit Pistons saw off the New York Knicks 92-86 and the Washington Wizards were 104-100 winners over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
