NFL: Tim Tebow signs one-year deal with Philadelphia Eagles
Tim Tebow has signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, and will return to the NFL this summer having been out of contract for the past two seasons.
The 27-year-old has had spells with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets but failed to make the New England Patriots roster following a training camp in 2013.
However, he was a sensation in college football with the Florida Gators, worked as a television analyst last season and, according to the Boston Globe, continued to work on his game with Tom House who is Tom Brady’s personal coach.
Eagles coach Chip Kelly said recently: “We bring in a lot of players for private workouts, it’s just he’s the one that everyone keeps talking about.”
Meanwhile, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who rarely participated in offseason workouts while with the Detroit Lions, was present on the first day of the Miami Dolphins’ offseason program.
Suh signed a six-year $114 m contract with the Dolphins last month, making him the highest-paid defender in NFL history.
