Nicole Scherzinger & Steve Jones To Host X Factor USA

It’s finally official Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones have finally been confirmed as the co-hosts of The X Factor USA.

“These two are going to be great together,” Simon Cowell said in a statement. “I have always wanted Steve to work with us; I think he is a real star. Nicole is fantastic. I loved working with her on the UK X Factor last year. She is gorgeous and super-talented.”

Ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole said she was thrilled to get the job, one of the most highly sought-after hosting gigs in America. “I loved working alongside Simon on the UK show, and cannot wait to see what he has in store for the US,” she said. “I’m so excited to work with Steve Jones and help discover astounding talent from across the country!”

Ex-T4 presenter Steve, who is a relative unknown in the States, said the job was a dream come true. “I couldn’t be happier to be coming onto The X Factor. The ability to work day in and day out with Simon Cowell is a dream come true. I am honoured to have that opportunity and thrilled to be able to share the stage with Nicole Scherzinger, whom I adore.

“I have been approached about working in the States before, but never felt right about those opportunities,” Steve continued. “But when The X Factor came up, I leapt at the opportunity.”

Steve’s good friend Dermot O’Leary had made no secret of the fact that he wanted the job; instead he will remain on the UK show. Others in the frame included Enrique Iglesias and Corbin Bleu.
