Noel Gallagher OK with brother Liam singing his songs
Noel Gallagher has admitted that he doesn’t have an issue with his brother Liam performing Oasis tracks.
Liam’s band Beady Eye have recently been performing classic Oasis hits as part of their set, after initially refusing to play them when they first formed.
However, Noel has insisted that he is happy for Liam to perform the rock anthems as it means he receives royalties every time they are played.
“Beady Eye have my permission to play my songs and they should do whatever they like,” Noel told The Sun.
“I say he should go around the world, do those songs and fill out the PRS (performing rights) forms.”
Noel Gallagher recently confirmed that ‘Everybody’s on the Run’ will be the latest single to be lifted from his chart-topping solo debut album.
The single, which has an accompanying music video featuring Hollywood star Mischa Barton, will be officially released on August 6.
