Nokia expected to unveil Lumia 920 phone this week
Nokia is expected to introduce the next generation of its Lumia smartphone range this week, including a premium model featuring a 4.5-inch screen, Pureview camera and wireless charging technology.
The Verge claims to have got confirmation from sources that Nokia will announce the Lumia 920 handset at a joint event with Microsoft on tomorrow (Wednesday September 5).
According to the website, the Lumia 920 will be Nokia’s new flagship smartphone and come with some impressive hardware specifications.
- The handset is expected to have a 4.5-inch high definition display
- 32GB of device storage
- 1GB of RAM
- 1.5GHz dual-core processor
- Magnetic strip on the rear that supports wireless charging and will be compatible with other wireless charging products
- 8-megapixel Pureview snapper
The Verge feels that the launch date for the Lumia 920 is likely to fall in late October or early November.
