One Direction’s Harry Styles hit in groin by flying shoe

Ok so it wasn’t quite a Glasgow kiss, but Harry Styles received a painful welcome to Glasgow last night when a fan at the One Direction concert threw their shoes at the star, causing him to drop to the ground.

Harry Styles was hit in the groin while he was performing a gig at the cities SECC along with his One Direction bandmates.

The band were participating in a Q&A when the flying object landed on the stage.

Harry Styles caught the first shoe and was puzzled as was visible when he held it aloft for the audience to see, saying, “It’s a shoe.”

Just a second later, another shoe directed at him hit Harry in his crotch, causing the teen heartthrob to drop down in agony.

His concerned bandmates looked over and Liam Payne tried to speak to him. Looking dazed and disoriented as he got up, Liam Payne confirmed his status by saying, “Well, he has just been assaulted.”

After regaining his composure, Harry Styles managed to smile and wave at the audience.
