Police not charging Jeremy Clarkson over Top Gear punch
Jeremy Clarkson will not face any further investigation over his “fracas” with a Top Gear producer.
North Yorkshire Police have completed their routine enquiries in relation to the incident, which led to Clarkson being dropped by the BBC last month.
Producer Oisin Tymon decided not to press charges against Clarkson, stating that he hoped “all parties should now be allowed to move on, so far as possible”.
Officers continued to carry out final interviews with witnesses, stating that they “have a duty to investigate” what happened.
Following the investigation, Clarkson will now be able to move on with the next stage of his career.
