Red Carpet: Stars come out in New York to support Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West joined a host of stars to show support for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street.
The foundation raises much needed funds for research in the fields of leukemia, lymphoma, and related cancers, including being one of the largest non-governmental sources of grant support for blood cancer research in the United States.
After flying in from Venice, Kim changed into a plunging cobalt blue gown to accompany her rapper beau Kanye West to the Angel Ball.
With her gown cut to the thigh with two slits, Kim looked every inch the (blue) belle of the ball, as the gown opened as she walked to reveal the extra height of her black platforms.
A host of stars including singer Ashanti, R’n’B star Nelly and model Bar Refaeli – who showed off her figure in a long clinging pink and black gown – attended the ball.
Reality star Angela Simmons, model Jessica Stam, and presenter Star Jones were also among the guests.
Also on the red carpet was Beyonce’s sister singer Solange and her mother Tina.
