Rihanna was evacuated from her London hotel in the early hours of this morning when a fire broke out.

Even although the star had been out all night with Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and designer Henry Holland, Rihanna was in good spirits, tweeting a photo of herself waiting patiently in a London taxi cab as firefighters tackled the blaze.

In the snap, Rihanna was wearing dark sunglasses and a grey hoodie and she added the caption: ‘Roamin da streets since 6am (sic).’

The We Found Love singer was among 300 guests at the city’s swanky Corinthia Hotel when she was forced to leave after a fire broke out.

She also uploaded a snap of a fire engine with the caption: ‘Fire in the Telly #evacuationlife’.

The London Fire Brigade has since confirmed via their own Twitter page that no one staying at the hotel was injured.

Rihanna has been in London since last weekend where she performed at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend on Sunday and the star is due to perform next weekend at Wireless Festival in Hyde Park.
