Rihanna unveils her collection for River Island
The moment has finally come for fans to get their hands of Rihanna’s collection for fashion retailer, River Island.
The Bajan singer arrived at London’s Oxford Street store last night, wearing one of her own designs.
The 25-year-old looked flawless in a floor-length black gown which featured a thigh high split and a cut-out back, accentuated with matching burgundy heels and lips.
Rihanna revealed she thinks no-one beats the British when it comes to getting dressed.
“Britain has the most fashionable kids in the world,” said the singer.
“These kids inspired the high-end designers, they say what’s cool.”
Speaking to Grazia magazine Rihanna also revealed that her inspiration for the collection was her own wardrobe.
“I designed every single piece in the collection so I could wear it.”
“I think my fans trust my style so they’ll have fun with it.”
After the press launch, Ri Ri headed to DSTRKT to celebrate with some stars, swapping her long black dress for a more casual look from the collection.
