Rihanna working on new album with Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins

Rihanna is reportedly working on a new album.

Hit producer Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins – whose worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Lady GaGa and Whitney Houston – has revealed that he has submitted songs for Rihanna’s next LP.

Jerkins told The Source: “I was working with Britney actually at the end of the year. She had me come on The X Factor show and do something with her, so we’ll see what happens if we get a chance to work together.

“I am working with Mariah, I am working with Jennifer Lopez. I just finished a couple songs with Jessie J over in London and I also wrote a couple of songs that are being considered for Rihanna’s new album, so there’s a lot of good stuff happening so we’ll see.”

Rihanna recently revealed that she is back in the recording studio, posting an image on Twitter in the studio with rapper Wale.

She said: “Work hard play hard! @Walemmg and I cooking up a lil treat!!! #studiolife.”

The star released her seventh album Unapologetic last November and is currently on her Diamonds world tour.
