Rita Ora say Jay-Z loves her debut album

Rita Ora has revealed that she was nervous playing her new album to label boss Jay-Z.

The singer, who is signed to the rapper’s Roc Nation label, admitted that she was reassured by his approval of her debut album, Ora.

“He loved it,” she told MTV. “He looked at me and said, “You love it?” I said “I love it” and he said, “Well, I love it too.”

“When you work hard on something for so long and you put it out there and you have no control of what’s going to happen, you don’t want to get bruised up.

“You want it to have a gold plate around it. I’m excited. I’m so happy and excited.”

Ora also explained that the record has an “eclectic” sound, adding: “We worked really hard, me and Roc Nation, we are happy to say that we are finally done.

“It’s an honest real album, and there’s so many different types of genres on there.”

The star recently confessed that Jay-Z advised her to take performance tips from Coldplay.
