Spice Girls seen rehearsing for London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony
The Spice Girls have been spotted rehearsing for the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
Photographs obtained by The Sun show all five members of the band practicing a routine on top of black taxi cabs.
There has been continued speculation that the Spice Girls would reunite to perform at the ceremony, and a recent Twitter post from Victoria Beckham included a picture of the microphone she used at the band’s last reunion tour.
Performers including George Michael, Jessie J, Queen guitarist Brian May, Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah, the Pet Shop Boys and Monty Python member Eric Idle were also spied at the rehearsals for Sunday night’s (August 12) ceremony, which are being held at a Ford car plant in Dagenham.
Other photographs from the rehearsal site also show dancers climbing over a replica of Tower Bridge.
Muse have also been seen practising for the closing ceremony, while One Direction have spoken of their excitement about performing.
