Spotted: Ed Westwick and his Gossip Girl cast dress down on the streets of New York
They’re usually seen strutting their stuff on the Upper East Side, sporting an array of outfits by some of the world’s biggest designers, but Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick looked a far cry from their usually preened selves as they arrived on the New York set of their hit show.
Blake, 24, who plays socialite Serena van der Woodsen on the show, wore no make-up and her hair was un-styled as she strolled next to a mystery male outside her trailer.
- Sporting a black robe over baggy tracksuit bottom, Blake swapped her usual high heels for flat moccasin beige shoes.
Her co-star Ed Westwick didn’t fare much better, stepping out in a black one piece tracksuit unzipped half way down to reveal his bare chest underneath.
He sucked on his white ipod headphones as he strolled through the Manhattan streets, before later changing to a more dapper look in a grey suit, lilac shirt and bow tie.
Blake and the cast will be returning to screens in October for the sixth and final season of the show.
Her character Serena is expected to return to her old wild ways for the last season.
Back in May, a spokesperson told Us Weekly: ‘Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her.’
