Spotted: Robert Pattinson opens New York Stock Exchange
Robert Pattinson opened the New York Stock Exchange this morning.
The actor, who attended the NY premiere of his new film Cosmopolis last night, rang the opening bell at the famous Wall Street financial centre to signify the start of the day’s trading.
He was joined by Cosmopolis writer and director David Cronenberg to promote the movie based on Don DeLillo’s 2003 novel.
Pattinson has said of his new film: “I don’t think you can give away the plot, I think it’s impossible, trying to explain what the movie’s about is physically impossible.
“It’s a very kind of eccentric [film], it’s one of the only things I’ll ever do where I can say, ‘I don’t think this will ever be made again’, or, ‘It hasn’t been made before’. Regardless of how people see it, at least it’s something new.”
Kristen Stewart admitted last month that she had cheated on Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
