Strictly Come Dancing just got HOT!!!!!!!!!!
Holly Valance brings the glamour as full dancing lineup is revealed
There isn’t a shortage of glamour in this year’s show with Australian actress Holly Valance, sexy Italian Nancy Dell’Olio and Sixties pop star Lulu showing off their twinkle toes.
Other lovely ladies lined up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing include One Show host Alex Jones and Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healy, who will be donning sequins and feathers aplenty for the competition.
Former Neighbours star Jason Donovan and McFly drummer Harry Judd will be strutting their stuff and hoping to impress on the dance floor.
And there are plenty of former sports stars taking part, with former boxer Audley Harrison and tennis star turned TV presenter Dan Lobb putting on the tap shoes for size.
Robbie Savage, who has denied he is taking part to his fans on Twitter, is also joining the lineup, which may leave some fans bemused by his recent posts.
His move from the football pitch to the ballroom will raise a few eyebrows among football fans who knew him as one of the most aggressive figures in the game.
He was once dubbed the dirtiest player in the Premiership, on account of the mass of yellow cards he picked up during his career.
Savage has since carved out a career as a Radio 5 Live broadcaster, picking up a Rising Star prize at the Sony Radio Academy Awards earlier this year.
Finishing off the lineup are actress Anita Dobson, impressionist Rory Bremner, astrologer Russell Grant and former MP Edwina Currie.
The show will once again be hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly and the judging panel will also remain unchanged with Len Goodman joined by Alesha Dixon, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli to critique the hopefuls.
MEET THE WOMEN
Holly Valance, 28
Played Flick in Neighbours before having a hit single Kiss Kiss in 2002. She is now dating billionaire property mogul Nick Candy and is most likely to dance The Bolero, because after her infamous dancing in the video for Kiss Kiss, we know she can move to the quick-quick beats.
Nancy Dell’Olio, 50
Famous for dating Sven Goran Eriksson. The Italian-American property lawyer and socialite also looks great in a bikini. Most likely to dance the Tango, because she embraces an orange-tan glow.
Lulu, 62
Famous for having a singing career that has lasted five decades and briefly dating actor Stuart Manning who was more than 30 years her junior. She is most likely to dance the Samba, so she can get up close and personal to her young dance partner.
Chelsee Healey, 23
She plays straight-talking secretary Janeece Bryant in BBC1’s Waterloo Road. Most likely to dance the Lindy Hop, because it’s known for its athletic style and she is young and nimble enough for all those twists and flips.
Anita Dobson, 62
Famous for playing Den Watts’s wife Angie Watts in EastEnders from 1985 to 1988 and a brief singing career in 1986. She is most likely to dance yhe Quickstep, because she always knew how to move away from Dirty Den with speed.
Alex Jones, 34
Famous for taking over from Christine Bleakley on The One Show in August 2010. Most likely to dance the Viennese Waltz, because it is a particular popular choice of dance in Wales.
Edwina Currie, 64
Famous for having an affair with John Major and causing controversy over salmonella in eggs as a Junior Health Minister in 1988. Most likely to dance the Foxtrot, because she has never appeared keen on chickens.
MEET THE MEN
Jason Donovan, 43
Famous for saying ‘I do’ to Kylie Minogue’s character Charlene Mitchell in Neighbours in 1987 – whilst dating her in real life. Most likely to dance the Waltz. Jason remains a proud Aussie and Waltzing Matilda is, of course, his country’s unofficial national anthem.
Harry Judd, 25
Drummer for hugely successful young rock band, McFly. Most likely to dance the Paso Doble, because it is the liveliest of ballroom dances and he is one of the youngest in the line-up.
Dan Lobb, 39
The former professional tennis player does the sports news on ITV1 morning show Daybreak as well as being Adrian Chiles’ stand-in. Most likely to dance the American Smooth, because he is a sickly sweet TV presenter.
Audley Harrison, 39
Former Olympic gold medallist heavyweight boxer – defeated limply by David Haye in world title fight last year. Most likely to dance an East Coast Swing, because he could never take a right hook.
Robbie Savage, 36
Famous for being a welsh Footballer turned radio pundit, his pretty boy haircuts and crunching tackles. Most likely to dance the Jive, because he has always talked too much – especially to referees.
Russell Grant, 60
Famous for being a TV astrologer in the 1980s, he presented a number of TV shows and did an astrological reading for the Queen Mother. Most likely to dance the Rumba, because it is often referred to as the ‘Grandfather of Latin dances.’
Rory Bremner, 50
Famous for his unique brand of comedy which has earned him a TV and radio career spanning 25 years.
Most likely to dance the Cha Cha because it is a lively, flirtatious ballroom dance where the partners work together to synchronize each movement – perfect for an impressionist.
