Taylor Swift’s albums streamed through Jay Z’s TIDAL
Taylor Swift’s albums can now be streamed through Jay Z’s TIDAL service.
The singer pulled her music from Spotify last year, claiming the streaming service perpetuates “the perception that music has no value”.
Swift’s albums are now available to stream through Jay Z’s recently purchased TIDAL.
The rapper bought the ‘high fidelity music streaming’ provider for $56 million earlier this month.
“I’m not willing to contribute my life’s work to an experiment that I don’t feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists, and creators of this music,” Swift previously said of her Spotify removal.
“I just don’t agree with perpetuating the perception that music has no value and should be free.”
TIDAL currently charges users a monthly subscription fee of $19.99 in the US and £19.99 in the UK.
