Texas announce new UK headline tour

Scottish rockers, Texas have announced plans for a new UK tour.

The band will play 16 dates across the country in support of their forthcoming new album The Conversation, which is released on May 20.

The run of shows will start off at York’s Barbican on November 9 and end at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on November 29.

Texas’s new collection features new single and title track ‘The Conversation’ and marks their first album released through [PIAS] Recordings.

“When we started talking with [PIAS] we were really impressed by their enthusiasm and passion for our new music and how they work in a very modern and artist-friendly way,” said Sharleen Spiteri.

“We are really excited about starting a brand new phase of our career with our eighth studio album and a brand new label partner.”

The album will see founding members Spiteri and Johnny McElhone reunite after a six-year-long hiatus.
