The Hangover Part 3 will be last in the series
The Hangover Part III will be the last movie in the series.
Director Todd Phillips, who helmed the first two films and will return for the third, confirmed yesterday that the franchise would conclude with its third instalment.
He said in a statement: “I’m so excited to embark on anotherHangover film with Bradley, Ed and Zach.
“We’re going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.”
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis will all return for the third film, which is expected to begin production in September.
The combined box office success of the first two Hangover movies has made this a billion-dollar franchise.
The Hangover Part III is due for release in the US on May 24, 2013
