The Inbetweeners 2 release date confirmed

The Inbetweeners 2 has confirmed its UK release date.

The comedy sequel will arrive in cinemas on Wednesday, August 6 2014.

The Inbetweeners 2 will open soon after Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1) and two days before Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side and Disney’s Planes 2.

Cast members Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley are all returning for the follow-up, while TV series creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris are writing and directing.

Emily Berrington, Freddie Stroma and David Field are new cast additions.

The sequel will see the four school friends reunite in Australia for a holiday.
