The Killers deny split

The Killers have denied they are splitting up.

The bands frontman Brandon Flowers has reassured fans that The Killers are not splitting up in an interview with NME.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Flowers was working on his second solo album, but the frontman said that he wishes to take his band into a new direction at the same time.

He told NME: “We’ve been lucky and we’ve checked off a lot of boxes, but you always want to grow and get better, write songs that you haven’t written. And maybe that no-one else has written.

“We’re explorers, and so we’re going to keep on digging.”

Flowers’s follow-up to his first solo album Flamingo will be released next year.

He previously said: “The record’s not done yet, but I’m excited about it, I’m liking it.”
