The Saturdays deny split rumours

The Saturdays have denied rumours they are planning to split following the baby boom within the girl group.

Fans have voiced concern the girl group may call it a day after Frankie Sandford announced her pregnancy.

Frankie joins the growing number of mums in the group. Rochelle Humes gave birth to baby Alaia-Mai this month and Una has a one year old daughter, Aoife Belle.

Rumour has it that all three mothers would want time out to concentrate on family life, however, the group have played down the speculation and have promised their fans that they will release new music later this year.

“Our album will be out late summer hopefully. We then plan to tour,” Sandford told the Daily Star.

“We definitely aren’t splitting.”

A source told the tabloid that The Saturdays will continue as a foursome when Rochelle returns and Frankie departs on maternity leave. They will then reunite as a five-piece for the tour.

The Saturdays will release ‘Gentleman’ as their next UK single on June 30.
