The Saturdays show off their toned legs during first New York gig
Mollie, Frankie, Rochelle, Una and Vanessa have been Stateside for the past month in their bid to follow in the footsteps of The Wanted and One Direction, and crack America.
The Saturdays have been kept busy shooting a reality TV series for E! which has seen the girls attend the MTV Video Music Awards, perform at Perez Hilton’s party, appear on daytime shows and now they’re performed a show in the city that never sleeps.
The girls are in New York to launch themselves in the North American market and have been creating buzz with a series of public appearances.
The UK hitmakers made their live performing debut on the East Coast when they performed at the XL nightclub last night.
Glistening in sparkling bustiers teamed with short black hotpants – although Vanessa and Una decided to cover a little more of their modesty by wearing mini-skirts over their tiny shorts – the girls sang an array of their famous hits.
Frankie Sanford, 23, tweeted fans after the gig saying: “Such an awesome show tonight in New York! Can’t believe were actually here and people are singing our songs! thanks guys : (sic)”
Mollie King, 25, added: “XL NYC you were incredible tonight! Thank you so much to each and every one of you for making our first show in New York so unforgettable!”
Una Healy, 30, tweeted: “Met so many US sats fans tonight so exciting!! thanks so much to everyone at XL in NYC tonight for making our NY debut so sweet!! Xx”
