The Vampire Diaries gets UK airdate
The Vampire Diaries will return to ITV2 later this month.
Season five of the hit supernatural drama will premiere on Tuesday, October 29 at 9pm, the broadcaster has confirmed.
The first episode of the new season is called ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ and begins with Elena Gilbert moving into college dorms following a summer enjoying her passionate relationship with Damon Salvatore.
The Vampire Diaries Season 5 airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on the CW network.
Meanwhile, The Vampire Diaries spinoff series The Originals – ased around the Mikaelson siblings Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah – will premiere on Syfy in the UK on Tuesday 22 October at 10pm.
