The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness dragged from club after brawl

The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness was dragged from a nightclub on Saturday night after a brawl inside The Villa nightclub.

The boyband member was inside the Essex club when a fight broke out, and unfazed by his celebrity status, the clubs security dragged the singer by his wrists, with his fists clenched, outside onto the street.

A source told The Sun: “A nearby table complained to staff and claimed Jay had stolen drinks and caused a fight between punters so security attempted to remove Jay from the VIP area.

“He pushed back to try to get them off him, so the security thwacked him. Jay was knocked to the floor and then dragged from the venue.”

The row allegedly kicked off at 1.30am on Sunday morning, and ended with Tom putting booze-filled Jay in a cab home.

The Villa nightclub spoke about the incident, explaining: “We cannot tolerate this behaviour from anyone, celebrity or not.”

The 23-year-old had been supporting his band mate Tom Parker at a personal appearance at The Villa nightclub in Epping, Essex.

Tom had reportedly been given a table as part of the appearance deal, and it was his girlfriend Kelsey Hardwick’s birthday so there was a group of friends out to celebrate.
