TOWIE’s Joey & Ricky warned by police over fight

The Only Way Is Essex stars Joey Essex and Ricky Rayment have been warned by police following their fight on the show.

The pair were seen brawling in the ITV2 reality show’s penultimate episode, which aired on Sunday (February 26). They were shown to have made up by the time of the series four finale on Wednesday (February 29).

However, Essex and Rayment were each asked to discuss the incident with an officer after authorities were alerted to the footage.

“The officer gave words of advice to them about their behaviour in regards to the fracas and their conduct,” a police spokesperson told The Sun. “The officer had viewed the footage and decided that was the best course of action.”

There have been no complaints, cautions or arrests made in relation to the incident.

A TOWIE spokesperson added: “‘Both Joey and Ricky have been informally warned about their conduct following the incident but the matter has not been taken any further.”

The fight between Essex and Rayment took place during the re-launch of Lauren Goodger’s salon, which was petrol bombed by a gang hours after opening last month.
