Twilight star Taylor Lautner avoids Kristen Stewart scandal question
Twilight star Taylor Lautner has dodged questions about his co-star Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal in a new magazine interview.
The 20-year-old actor plays Jacob Black in the upcoming final instalment of the Twilight saga, opposite Stewart and her longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
Stewart was subject to severe scrutiny for cheating on Pattinson in July, when photos of her kissing Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders emerged.
Pattinson and Stewart split soon after the revelations, however they have now allegedly rekindled their romance – just in time for the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Lautner dodged questions about the scandal in an upcoming issue of Cosmopolitan, saying: “Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I’m always proud of her.”
When pressed on whether he would take back an unfaithful partner, Lautner added: “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know.
“It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it’s quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done.”
