Twin Atlantic announce November UK tour
Twin Atlantic have announced a UK tour for later this year.
The Scottish rockers, who have just completed their biggest headline run to date, will head out again in November for 10 more shows.
The trek begins with a hometown show at Glasgow Barrowlands on October 27 and runs until November 8, when the band will play London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
The band, who will support Blink-182 at a number of their UK arena dates this summer, will then head out to the US for the Warped Tour and recently told NME that they’re also well into the writing process for the follow-up to their debut album ‘Free’.
Asked about their summer plans, singer Sam McTrusty said: “We’re doing the Warped tour and when that finishes we’ll probably be skeletal zombies after playing in that heat, so we’ll need a wee rest. After that, we’ll be going into the studio to record album number two.”
In writing the follow-up to ‘Free’, Sam said: “We’re well into double figures, we’ve got at least 15 or 16 songs and we’ve demoed about 10. But that’s still early doors for us, we like to revisit things about a million times. We’re weird perfectionists like that, we really like to take our time. It’ll probably be out at the start of next year.”
